Fraiche Catch is a Luhrs 36 open that is 38 feet long and almost 14 feet wide. With lots of shaded space, two AC systems, satellite TV and music, and a legendary hull design you will be much more comfortable than on most other boats. It’s equipped with state of the art electronics, safety equipment including satellite phone, epirb, and 8 man life raft. Two captains run trips, Danny Atchison for fishing and JT Tyler for diving. Fraiche Catch is powered by twin 420 horsepower Yanmar diesel engines that are meticulously maintained by Captain Tyler.
For fishing, the equipment includes premium bottom fishing rods and reels, penn international bent butt trolling rod and reels, and two heavy duty electric reels for deep dropping in 350 + feet. The navigation system has more than 3000 way points saved over the years known to hold fish. The tackle on board will accommodate all types of possible offshore fishing.
Captain J.T Tyler
Fishing Guide and Captain
JT Tyler has been a licensed Merchant Marine captain for ten years. He holds a 100 ton license which requires much more time at sea than the normal “six pack” license most captains hold. His license provides the opportunity to take larger number of passengers on vessels. JT has been our captain for three seasons now, and has mastered the art of finding and catching the best the Gulf has to offer. He also has a lifetime of mechanical and electrical experience that provides us the opportunity to keep Fraiche Catch in first class operating and safety condition. He formerly served for eight years as part time Captain and full time rescue diver for a larger gulf coast dive vessel. He currently holds diving certifications including PADI and IANTD, deep cave and deep wreck to 250-300 feet depth, full tech cave and decompression stage dive as well as full service rescue diving. He has many years of experience in the Flower Garden National Marine Sanctuary and the Texas Parks and Wildlife artificial reef program.

Rest up before your fishing trip and then clean up, grill, recover and relax afterward. 2 bedroom 1 bath minutes from the Bridge Harbor Yacht Club. Home is set up for hosting fisherman for Freeport TX deep sea fishing trips. Each bedroom has two twin beds, and the living room two futons that make into beds sleeping up to 6. Fully furnished kitchen, full size laundry, pets welcome fully fenced back yard. Barbecue grill and covered front porch.
